Stays cold for ages as advertised which is the main thing but the fit/finish feels a bit flimsy- especially the latch to shut the lid- doesn’t feel like it will last/could break easily. A simple fix that would really make it feel as good as it performs.

Still had some solid ice and cold drinks after 5 days
Really impressed - it says can 'retain ice for 5 days' and it really can. Also it is solid enough to sit on while drinking one of your still cold beers.

Very very good we have been in France for 2 weeks and we got this to take my dogs Frozen food with us until we arrived at our accommodation with an overnight stop took 2 days, the food and drinks were still very cold and it worked perfect would advise anyone to buy this if going on long journeys

Very good cool box
Bought this for a festival. The box kept ice frozen for about 36hrs and cans of drink very cold for over 48hrs - very impressive. The main catch on the lid is a little flimsy but does the job - I’m just not sure it would stand up to a lot of abuse. Overall though this was an excellent purchase and I’m very pleased with it.

An excellent cooler and excellent service from igloocoolers.co.uk!
We bought this cooler for camping. We started off looking at the 25lish coolers and then the 35lish coolers but we realised that you need to leave plenty of space for all the ice/ice packs if you want to get days and days of cold. The Maxcold 48 is brilliant at keeping cold, I’ve only given it 4 stars rather than 5 as it has a very weak and poor catch for keeping it closed. I can’t even begin to understand how you go about designing a catch in the way that this one is designed and made, it’s almost like a conscious effort to be bad! It really does not look like it will last long and has no real strength at holding the lid closed. That said, the cooler performed really really well and I highly recommend it.
